Have You Visited The National Museum of the Filipino People?
I have lived in Manila for many years ever since I was a kid but I never tried going to this place, National Museum For The Filipino People. Whenever I go to Rizal Park, I just pass by the place and ignore its beauty. I visited the place for I was curious what's inside. My experience was excellent, I went to the place alone, not because I am a loner but because I want to enjoy some stuff without companion. I wanted to explore the beauty of Manila even though we all know that it's polluted and traffic.
In the museum, you will get to know more about the Philippines, the exhibits are amazing! You'll see the paintings of the well known painters, different sculptures, ancient objects, and many more. My favorite was the Spolarium painting by Juan Luna and to be honest I was surprised that it was a very huge masterpiece, I can't imagine how one person could paint something as big like that! The restrooms are well maintained and it is also fully airconditioned. Here are some of my photos in the museum. Entrance fee is 50php (only for students with valid I.D.) for the viewing of the two buildings so make sure that you bring yours! (Price might be higher now because this was 3 years ago.)
